3.5 billion years ago, the first cell came into being on the earth. The complication of information brought on the running of subjectival procedure (which is a kind of coding sequence formed naturally with the formation process of living organisms and a kind of instruction running automatically stimulated by the circumstance), and then the Being-in-Itself (which is guided by no subjectival procedure, and also be named natural being) qualitatively-jumped into the Being-in-Myself (living organisms). After that, under the dual-effect of the internalization of subjectival procedure and the evolution of life, the universe unfolded its splendid evolving process which was led by life. In this process, innumerable single subjects emerged. They maintained the internalization of subjectival procedure and the evolution of life through birth-aging-sickness-death, struggle for existence, genetic variation and so on. In other words, they got the internalization of subjectival procedure and the evolution of life at the sacrifice of individual lives. From modern perspective, it is so cruel for individual subjects, but cruelty meant nothing for them in relation to their state of cognition, because they only preserved their lives instinctively, and these individuals had not been conscious of the meaning of death before the birth of self-conscious subjectival procedure. While self-conscious subjectival procedure has been conscious of death and they must face to it clear-headedly, and then the meaning of the cruelty of death was given to the self-conscious subjectival procedure. So, the self-conscious subject is always desired to conquer death. Restricted by the law of life, living organisms are transient but not transformable. So, to conquer death, we must go beyond living organisms firstly, but it is impossible under the state of living organism. However, this limitation did not obstruct the human pondering on this problem. Qin Shihuang, the first emperor of Qin, is the first man who tried to preserve subjectival procedure perennially to conquer death. To preserve the eternity of his selfhood, Qin Shihuang dispatched Xu Fu to navigate eastward to seek the elixir of life. To distinguish his specific being from other human individuals, he even named himself “Zhen”[1]. It is beyond reproach for Qin Shihuang to preserve his selfhood, and he was unable to realize it, limited by the technological level at that time. What is more, the way to realize the eternality of the subject through the preservation of single life (not through variants) is more unrealizable.
Despite all this, Qin Shihuang’s pondering on death 2000 years ago is still of immediate practical significance for us and he was the first man who tried to qualitatively-change the subject “I” into the subject “Zhen”. Although the Being-in-Myself has evolved into self-conscious subjectival procedure, it is still at the spontaneous level and has a great limitation. Human beings will not rest here. Through permuting their subjectival procedure carrier, they will qualitatively-change spontaneous subjectival procedure into voluntary subjectival procedure and qualitatively-change the subject “I” into the subject “Zhen”. And then the future social subject will be the “Being-in-Zhen”[2]which is qualitatively-changed from the “Being-in-Myself”. “Being-in-Zhen” is the sequel of the violent change of the late “Being-in-Myself”.
Part one: Human qualitative-change is the developmental tendency of the universe.
As set forth, the interaction between the evolution of living organisms and the internalization of subjectival procedure pushed ahead with a new period of the evolution of the universe. During this process, the internalization of subjectival procedure became dominant gradually. To a great extent, this dominant status was gained by replacing the carrier of subjectival procedure constantly. Highly-active subjectival procedure needs high quality living organisms to get highly-effective result of internalization. However, according to the evolving possibility of living organisms, human organisms are the most perfect state of the evolution of living organisms, that is to say, subjectival procedure cannot get more excellent carrier among lives. Nevertheless, this state ran counter to the rule of positive-going evolution of the universe and constant internalization of subjectival procedure. Restricted by the positive-going law of the evolution of the universe, subjectival procedure is destined to continue to internalize and it is necessary to change its external carrier. But, this new carrier cannot be gotten from lives and that means this new carrier not only transform human beings greatly but also transform all the living organisms greatly in the evolutionary history of the universe completely. This is a significant qualitative-jump project of living organisms, the significance of this qualitative-jump is equal to and even beyond that of last qualitative-jump ( the Being-in-Itself qualitatively-jumping into the Being-in-Myself ) which happened 3.5 billion years ago, because the Being-in-Zhen will qualitatively-jump over the Being-in-Myself which had qualitatively-jumped over the Being-in-Itself. As living organisms are a crux of the process of the Being-in-Myself qualitatively-jumping over the Being-in-Itself, human beings undertake a great ultimate historic mission in the process the Being-in-Zhen qualitatively-jumping over the Being-in-Myself.
The process of the Being-in-Myself qualitatively-jumping into the Being-in-Zhen which is not a living organism exemplifies the whole process of negation of the negation. Initially, the universe was of Being-in-Itself and non-living organism. After a long time of evolution, the organism of Being-in-Myself appeared. This process exemplifies the process of affirmation and the process of negation of the evolution of the universe and this is the first stage. However, the evolution of the universe does not stop here, then it goes into the second stage—the stage of negation of the negation. This stage is the negation of the previous negation stage, in fact, it also the affirmation of the previous affirmation stage. In this way, the evolution of the universe seems to return to the evolving stage of non-living organism. Nevertheless, the evolution of the universe is not simply repetitive, and the return toward non-living organism should base upon the transcending living organism. That is to say, it needs to throw away the outer clothing of living organism basing upon the development of the internalization of subjectival procedure. Only this kind of return is the true feature of the evolution of the universe, which exemplifies the whole process of the evolution of the universe—affirmation, negation and negation of the negation; which corresponds to the transformation process of non-living organism--living organism--super living organism and Being-in-Itself--Being-in-myself- -Being-in-Zhen. At last, the Being-in-Myself will qualitatively-jump into the Being-in-Zhen. The Being-in-Zhen is not living organism, but this sort of non-living organism has the capability to carry subjectival procedure and it even promote the development of the carrier of subjectival procedure more effectively, so it is a kind of super-life, and this is an unusual process. How do the Being-in-Myself realize its self –transcendence?
According to the phenomenon that a chrysalis metamorphoses itself into a the butterfly, we can think of such a question: since a chrysalis can metamorphose itself into a butterfly and change its physical function in quality and transform itself into a nimble butterfly from a clumsily worm, can human beings do it in the same way? After all, human beings are a kind of creature with highly developed intelligence which are distinct from insects. To realize the metamorphosis, human beings have to find out a solution to avoid losing his selfhood in this process. The invention of computer brings us the possibility, because the highly development of computer may make the non-physical permutation of selfhood possible. The non-physical permutation of selfhood is the Technology of Human Self-Permutation.
Part two. The invention of computer gives human self-permutation actual possibility
That the human society is developing with an unprecedented speed foreshows that it is on the verge of a fundamental change--the living organism of human beings mutates into a new and more advanced being-body. The invention of computer provides this mutation with ultimate propulsion and will become the last invention of human beings. We should rejoice for this, because at last we human beings would extricate ourselves from all kinds of troubles which we cannot overcome before and step into a happy society.
Let us understand the connotation of the concept of self at first. A human life begins at a zoosperm. Under the law of metabolism and the law of cell division, every part of the body is displaced with the passage of time so that it is different from before completely, whereas the self -consciousness of human beings is aware of nothing. Most of human organs can be replaced, and the man whose organs are replaced won’t feel losing his self-consciousness. Only the brain can not be replaced, because the self-consciousness will shift toward to the opposite direction of the physical body after the replacement. So, it is not a technological problem. To the more deep analysis, the substance of the brain is not the true self and it is just the carrier of the self. From the perspective of procedural science, the human self is a process of function generating and information processing under an advanced program instruction and the brain is in fact a kind of program combination carrier with the form of life.
After the computer was invented in the middle of 20th century, it has gone through four generations in half a century and now it goes into the period of VLSI (Very large scale integration). But the functions of computer is still very far from that of human brain. On the one hand, the program setting of the current computer is still relatively mechanical; on the other hand, the computer still has no human functions, such as morality, values, feelings and so on.
In the sense of rationality, there is no difference between computer and human brain, both of which run under their respective procedure. What the difference between them is the running medium, the running medium of human brain is the concept condensed with a lot of information and that of computer is digital information with only basic information content. What’s more, human brain is of more arbitrariness than computer. The current computer has not reached the level in which it can run by arbitrariness, but its accuracy in analysis and operation is far beyond human brain. So, the fundamental difference between computer and human brain lies in the sense of irrationality. A human being is an irrational entity of emotion, morality, character, desire and so on, which are the core content of the Id or the Ego, and short of which is short of humanity. If the rational dimension of human being vanishes, human brain will have no difference from computer. However, the current computer is merely a highly rational calculating device. For that matter, it has a far cry from human brain. In a word, computer is inferior to human brain in three aspects— the information content of running medium, the arbitrariness and the irrational factors. With the technological improvement, it is probable to enlarge the information content of running medium and to apply the arbitrariness completely into computer. But there will be considerable technical difficulty to equip computer with irrational factors, otherwise computer will be not different from human brain and will be equal to the human Self. Thus, I suppose that our intelligence will reach the most optimal peak through the dynamic integration of the advantages of computer and human brain, without losing the Id and the Ego.
In fact, the current computer has undertaken considerable functions of human brain, merely in an external way. The future science may even make all the information and functions of a human brain store into a conscious computer, and then it is possible to realize the spirit moves. That is to say, it is possible to realize the immortality of soul actually in the future, and the birth-aging-sickness-death of body won’t have a decisive influence on the main body of the society.
Even if the above-mentioned can not come true completely, the powerful functions of computer will eventually draw in human being to find the way to realize the dynamic integration of the advantages of computer and human brain. A present problem is whether the subject of thought is human ego when the dynamic integration of the advantages of computer and human brain is realized and the computer will play a leading role in human being’s thought. We know that the human essence is embodied in the human essential prescript—the self-consciousness basing upon natural evolution, that is to say, the human brain basing upon the natural evolution is the real state of human brain. But when computer can integrate dynamically with human brain and play the leading role, the natural attributes of human brain will be fundamentally influenced and the change come true. Hence the human essence mutates, that is to say, the human society open the gate to the fundamental change. Nevertheless, contrasted with the existing state of Being-in-Zhen, though the integration of computer and human brain bring about substantive mutation on the human essence, its existence is still of the category of human being because it still bases upon living organism which is in restraint of the law of birth-aging-sickness-death of life. After all, the integration of computer and human brain approached the utmost limit of living organism, and its emergence laid a solid foundation for the ultimate quality-jumping of human being.
As a matter of fact, the attack on human essence had been initiated as early as the end of the Primitive Society. Marx said “the essence of man is no abstraction inherent in each single individual. In reality, it is the ensemble of the social relations” (Karl Marx, Theses On Feuerbach, in the first book of the Collected Works of Marx and Engels, pp.18, Chinese edition) and “Communism is the positive sublition of private property which is man's self alienation, and thus, it will realize the real possession of human essence by man and for man” (Karl Marx, Economic And Philosophic Manuscripts Of 1844, pp.73, Chinese edition, 2002). According to this viewpoint, the primitive society exemplifies the complete state of human essence, because individuals had not yet formed the idea of private possession and human essence is in a state of mutual possession. But, due to the improvement of the mode and tool of production, especially when a man took the first non-natural tool—metal tool, human essence began to mutate. On the one hand, the complete social essence began to mutate and give birth to its opposite— individuation and form a trend due to the private ownership of property appeared; on the other hand, due to the use of non-natural tools, the human essence, which bases upon the natural evolution, begins to mutate and its non-natural aspect appears. With the social development, the trend that human essence is being mutated is more and more sensible. Especially, the continuous mutation of human essence has become a historical trend since the Renaissance, because the advocacy of humanism accelerates the individualization trend of human being.
Having had an insight into the increasing trend of human alienation, Marx proposed the human alienation theory. However, due to the limitation of the level of the development of science and technology and the state of social development at that time, he just saw the negative influence of the trend of human alienation and didn’t realize that the trend of human alienation was in fact a necessary process of the evolution of human society, and the ultimate qualitative change caused by human alienation is also the normal result operated under the laws of the development of things. He treated human alienation as a kind of "great scourges" which must be overcome, and so he said”...Therefore, it is a return toward the man as a social man, i.e. a man who confirms with human essence. This return is complete, self-conscious and it saves all the splendid achievement of past development” (Karl Marx, Economic And Philosophic Manuscripts Of 1844, pp.73, Chinese edition, 2002.). What his true aim is to realize the return to human essence. According to the present state of science and technology development and the historical trend of social development, this return is impossible and unnecessary.
Basing upon the above-mentioned, I conclude that computer is the last invention of human being, because the intelligent structure and function of computer are closest to the human consciousness. Moreover, the infinite possibilities of the development of computer make it most possibly become a higher being. That is to say, once computers run to the complete integration with human brain, the human society will approach to the real qualitative change and evolve into a higher super-life. Before the qualitative change, human beings may have other significant inventions which will be not worth mentioning compared to computer which brings on the mutation of human conscious function and structure, and then it leads to the ultimate qualitative change of human society.
Thus, as the last invention of human being, computer bears the heavy burden of making human beings qualitatively-jump into the Being-in-Zhen. The dynamic integration of computer and human brain is the bud of the Being-in-Zhen and it has shown a clue at present time.
In the June of 2004, the CMOS chips human was born and this event will be a milestone in human history and it also confirms the truth of the human qualitative change theory. This first CMOS chips human was a 25 years old American who was planted into his skull a chip of bottle cap size which is linked by 100 micro-sensors which are linked with wheelchairs or computers. At present, he can control light switch, adjust the air-conditioner, write e-mail, direct the wheelchair and even play electronic game only through the consciousness.

The above-mentioned cases mean that human qualitative-jump takes another crucial step, which marks the bud of the Being-in-Zhen. And I believe that, with the march of time, the integration of computer and human brain will be more and more perfect. Nevertheless, Regardless of how perfect it is, human being won’t realize the true qualitative-jump if the technology of computer has not yet run to the level in which the subject can throw over the living organism clothing completely. The mark of the true realization of human quality-jumping is the emergence of the Technology of Human Self-permutation.
Part three. The plan of permutation technology of human self
The integration of computer and human brain will improve the function of human brain greatly and change human nature fundamentally. The integration of computer and human brain is still a kind of carrier basing upon living organism, and it has not yet gotten out of the restriction of the law of birth-aging-sickness-death and there are still many limitations on the internalization of subjectival procedure. So, after a long time of exploration, the subjectival procedure will find the technical approaches to overcome these limitations and get out of the restriction of life forms to gain complete free development of subjectival procedure. We know that human beings are also a kind of information aggregation. In a word, they can be deciphered basically through information and procedure in despite of how complicated a computer is. I believe that, following the quick development of computer technology, computer will realize the peer-to-peer transfixion.
The peer-to-peer transfixion between human brain and computer is the technically crucial step to realize the human self-permutation. The human self-permutation technology is that, through the inter-transfixion of human brain and computer, all information and procedure of human brain are migrated or downloaded into non-living carriers to slough off the living clothing and to realize the complete transformation of human subject. 1. Decoding the active running mechanism and procedural code.
Cell need to be understood similarly as a kind of computer mechanism, but cell goes high beyond the current computer. It needs the appearance of bio-computer to explain the physiological mechanism of cell, what we can do at present is to seek the breach theoretically and technically so as to the birth of bio-computer early. The organic integration of human brain and computer is realized by implanting more advanced micro-super-bio-computers’ combination into human brain , and the organic integration of human brain which is the highest subjective intelligent being and the combination of high speed, high efficient and multi-functional super bio-computer will make human become the real superman!
6. The peer-to-peer transfixion between human brain and computer, and the birth of Being-in-Zhen.
Supermen still base upon living organism and are still bio-men and are just a kind of biologic variants, therefore, they can still not avoid the restrictions of the law of birth-aging-illness-death and the troubles of living organisms. We can infer the time when the being-in-self qualitatively-jumps into being-in-Zhen according to the developmental process of similar social formations which are late-stage civil society of self-conscious civil ideology. The late- stage civil society is a period in which the whole human society will have a qualitative-change, so the developmental speed and pace of all aspects of human societies is quicker and quicker and the existential period is shorter and shorter. After 50,000 years since the late Homo sapiens, the human society stepped into the ancient society which only existed for 5000 years from the unification of the Upper Egypt and the Lower Egypt on BC.3100 to the capital class revolution in the 17th century, and the period of the temporary society is even shorter, which existed for no more than 400 years from the capital class revolution in the 17th century to the information revolution in the 1990s. A interesting phenomenon appears in these three social formations’ existential periods, namely, the period of each social formation decreases by the speed of 90% of the former social formation. At this speed, the existing period of the temporary society may be less than 50 years, that is to say, human beings will end their historic mission. At that time, the Being-in-Zhen will appear and the supermen society will come into being. This conforms basically to the prophecy of Ivan Pierson who is the chief scientist of the Futurists Association of British Telecom.
Part four.The existence meaning of the Being-in-Zhen
When the physical carrier of the self is permuted by non-living organisms, the carrier’s great change will also have a significant influence on the psychological procedure of the self. Thus, led by the new carrier, the subject whose carrier has been permuted will have a fundamental change and the subject-I will qualitatively-jump into the Zhen and will be qualitatively-jumped from spontaneous state into post-spontaneous state. Due to having no need to get the nourishment from living organism, the former cherishes life; on the opposite, the latter disdaining life because he depends on the psychological experiences formed from plunging the people into an abyss of misery by force.
The Being-in-Zhen exists as a kind of super-living organism, the nature of which is a kind of post-spontaneous procedure. After the formation of the Being-in-Self, due to his special transcendence, the Being-in-Zhen feels alone and he needs psychological supports from his fellow-creature. Thus, he will unite with his fellow-creature together soon, due to the transcendence on the technology, and their union is more substantial and tight compared with human society. In this way, the subject Being-in-Zhen absorbs the useful social components of the life and discards outdated social patterns, and they form the union of Being-in-Zhen directly.
After human beings transform into super-lives, the existence meaning of the Being-in-Zhen becomes the outstanding problem. We know that many aspects (such as culture, science, politics, economy, wars and so on) of the human society have developed brightly and colorfully which form the meaning of human existence. But, in the final analysis, all aspects of human life originate from the life and death of human beings. It is the life and death that makes human society vital and meaningful. However, the appearance of the Being-in-Zhen changes all this. Because the Zhen has no the outer clothing of living organism, he will not be restricted by the law of birth-aging-illness-death. Under the proper technology, the Being-in-Zhen may be immortal and eternal in the future. Thus, the Being-in-Zhen is drawn off the death problem which generates the main meaning of life. Now, the problem is that, is it meaningful for an eternal subject without death?
It is meaningless for a life without death absolutely, because he needs not to do anything and can contempt for all things and everything is nothingness for him. Though the Zhen does not exist in the living organism, he still lodges in a carrier.
